Kennington Oval, London
- The cricket ground at The Oval was established in 1845 by Surrey County Cricket Club. It became the site of the first meeting between international football teams when England played Scotland in 1870 (although it wasn't official). International cricket Tests wouldn't be played until 1880. The first twenty FA Cup Finals (including replays) were also held here from 1872 to 1892.
