Fred Hargreaves (16th August 1858 - 5th April 1897) was an international footballer who represented England 3 times scoring 0 goals. His first cap was against Wales on 15th March 1880 at 21 years old, and his last was vs Ireland on 18th February 1882 aged 23. Hargreaves, born on 16th August 1858, in Blackburn, has a FA Legacy Number of 76 and played as a Half Back for his country.

Hargreaves along with his brother John attended Malvern College, and joined Blackburn Rovers where they were FA Cup runners-up in 1882. He and his brother also played on the same team against Wales in 1881. Hargreaves has one first-class cricket appearance for Malvern against Derbyshire. Sadly, it wasn't a memorable moment as he was dismissed for a duck.
