Edward Parry (24th April 1855 - 19th July 1931) was an international footballer who represented England 3 times scoring 1 goal. Parry went to Charterhouse School and then up to Oxford in 1874. He played for Oxford University, Swifts, Remnants, Wanderers as well as his school club, Old Carthusians where he was a prolific goal scorer. He scored five in the first round of the FA Cup in 1883 versus Reading Minster, four against Saffron Waldren in 1880 and a hat-trick versus Pilgrims in 1882. He was on the FA Committee in 1881, that same year he captained Old Carthusians to FA Cup glory.
A Schoolmaster at Felsted School from 1879-80 and then Stoke House Private School 1881-1918, the last 16 years as headmaster.
