Opened in 1925 as the Waldstadion (Forest Stadium). It was majorly rebuilt for the 1974 World Cup. A third reconstruction occured in the 21st century with the stadium reopening in 2005 as the Commerzbank-Arena after it's sponsor. Since 2020 the sponsorship has been of Deutsche Bank. For the UEFA Euro 2024 tournament it is known by it's original name. Home of Eintracht Frankfurt.
