Liechtenstein are one of the minnow footballing nations in Europe along with San Marino, Luxembourg and Andorra. Not affiliated to FIFA and UEFA until 1974 they have only won a handful of games (eleven as of 2016) and have finished bottom of all eleven qualifying groups for both the World Cup and European Championship bar one.
England met them in qualifying for Euro 2004 and won 2-0 on both occasions.
