A three-team tournament based at the City of Manchester Stadium prior to Euro 2004. Invited were Iceland and Japan. England won the tournament on goal difference by drawing with Japan and thrashing Iceland. It was the third minor tournament title after the 1991 England Challenge Cup and the 1997 Tournoi de France.
