Notes:
Having been a founder member of the Oxford University club he was FA Cup runner-up with them in 1873. He played for Scotland against England in the pre-official matches. He was ordained in 1875 and after curacies at Biggleswade, East Socon & Somersham became vicar at Boxworth in 1889 until his death in 1927. Sometimes erroneously named Kirke-Smith but his birth certificate states Kirke was a middle name.
